Utilize your online presence to authentically reflect your personal brand, ensuring consistency across platforms.

When was the last time you considered a company's purpose before investing in them? 👉🏽Change your understanding. You cannot define a purpose to try and then live up to it; it's counter-intuitive. Secondly, instead of “saying my purpose is…” Change to “I’m purposeful when I challenge…” Note that purpose must present itself for you to have ‘awareness’ that you’re called upon to take ‘action’ to be purposeful. In this case, a challenge is presented. Define that challenge; it forms the basis that expands into everything you will do. What makes you purposeful?

This is even more true while choosing the best platform aligned to your skill. Given the ever decreasing attention span of today’s generation it is vital that creators of whichever content are choosing their platform carefully. Eg: A thorough discussion on the intricacies of tax implications may not be packaged well into a 15 second video! But a quick teaser to link it to a long form video can be floated in 15 seconds. In my opinion, in a highly competitive environment one needs to play the field using a combination of platforms to leverage the best fit for you.

👉🏽 We use of all sorts of tactics in the name of standing out. Quick Check: 1) Do they look vibrant, engaging and polished? A) Yes. 2) Do they use all the tricks in the book? A) Often so. 3) Are they represented congruently? A) No. 4) Do they stand out? A) No. It truly makes a significant difference when someone interacts with your digital self and has a different experience with your real self. **There is incongruence social wide. Anything poor can be made to look rich. Anything rich can also be made to look poor. 👉🏽 When optimising the profile: - Make it an accurate reflection of you. - Do what you say and say what you do. - Present yourself of the change you seek. - Give them a reason to explore more - Trigger them.
