How can you tailor your approach to relationship building for different speakers?

Feedback: Assess whether the speaker is seeking constructive input and critique on their presentation or ideas. Networking: Understand if the speaker is looking to connect with professionals, potential collaborators, or like-minded individuals. Exposure: Identify if the speaker's primary goal is to increase visibility for themselves, their project, or their organization. Education: Determine whether the speaker aims to educate the audience on a specific topic or provide valuable insights and knowledge. Figure out if you speaker is right or left brained, you can usually tell rather quickly based off of delivery, enthusiasm and how they address the audience. If they are more right brained they tend to be more open to talk, joke, smile, use more imaginary examples. If they are left brained they will stick with numbers and case studies and have more hard data.

In the ever-evolving landscape of communication, the significance of adopting a formal and structured style cannot be overstated. In my experience, If they are introverted they tend to be more shy and dislike 1 on 1 conversations however don't mind speaking to a larger crowd. However the opposite of extroverted speakers, they tend to be more open when engaging in 1 on 1 conversations but can be shy when interacting with a large crowd. Pay attention to whether they use the presentation as a buffer between them and the audience or if they use it as a visual but don't really read off the slides. If they are unsure of the questions they may receive they may choose to not answer questions or get a list of questions beforehand to help them navigate and deliver the presentation in a way that's more beneficial for the audience to digest it.

Ultimately, the value provided to the speaker through the adoption of a formal and structured style extends beyond the immediate context of communication. It leaves a lasting impression, positioning the speaker as a knowledgeable and articulate authority, capable of navigating the nuances of discourse with finesse. For me relationships are everything. I’m into building generational relationships. With every guest and speaker that I’ve ever had on our show, I’m still friends with every single one of them. Before they even came onto the show or stage, I invested in them whether they had books courses whatever it is, I invested in them. I also followed them on every social media platform that they were on. This has served me well. Gary Vaynerchuk taught me that you never have to promote yourself if you promote your friends. So, in my opinion, building the relationship before, and after the event is the best piece of advice I can give.

Also any personal touch you can provide is helpful.
