How do you connect with others on a deeper level?

The deepest level of connection needs a sense of mutual understanding. Basically it means I care for your purpose, and you know that I care. It is a partnership where I will listen when you want to speak, and speak when you want to listen.

In a world obsessed with "likes," connecting authentically is an art. Start with curiosity, ask soul-igniting questions, and let empathy be your bridge from "me" to "we." Vulnerability is a superpower; share triumphs, disconnect from distractions, and celebrate the beautiful tapestry of humanity. Together, let's build a world where connections are deeply felt.

It begins with active listening and genuine curiosity. By truly engaging with someone's thoughts, feelings, and experiences, we can forge meaningful connections built on understanding and empathy. It's about being present in the moment, asking thoughtful questions, and showing authentic interest in what makes each person unique. Ultimately, it's the shared moments of vulnerability, mutual respect, and shared values that pave the way for deeper connections to flourish.

The most important skill required for that is Listening skills! You should talk less and listen more. Not just listen but understand the things and respond accordingly.

I am a Holy Spirit Follower through Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father. He lives deep in me, beyond the shallow surface of my mind. He has taught me how to connect others to Him in the deep part of their mind. How? He cares about me and cares about the deepest part of me I can't reach. So, I know He cares about others and the deepness of Him that lives in them they can't reach. So, I talk about the things that are deeply important to them, and the miracle of Jesus and His Holy Spirit always emerges beyond the shallow parts of their mind. Sometimes, the miracle of His deepness is embraced other times, the miracle of His deepness is rejected.

My first book is a Memoir, A Spiritual Battle Between Two Bloodlines and the True Victor. It invites the whole world to see my sins, weaknesses, fears, hopes, successes, and failures without fear. I always speak about my fears and weaknesses first; after I speak about mine, most people are not afraid to speak about theirs. You can't help someone go deep within themselves if you have not been deep within yourself. Deep speaks to those who are deep or desire to go deep. You can't Spiritually see to help someone else spiritually see if you're still spiritually blind. Being honest does not mean you must give every detail of your failure. Some details are for your mind only.

💡 Authenticity fosters deeper connections. Sharing personal stories and genuine emotions builds a bond of trust. In my professional journey, being open about both successes and challenges has encouraged clients and colleagues to reciprocate. This vulnerability strengthens relationships. However, it's crucial to maintain a balance - being honest yet appropriate to the context. Right vulnerability at the right time can be a powerful tool for genuine engagement.

People follow you they join with you and not the company or project… Always speak the truth. Share your stories because people relate. If they think you are genuine they will understand and want to work with you.

This is true and a very slippery slope. In order to develope a deeper connection you must not only be authentic but allow yourself to become somewhat vulnerable however it is important to guage the level of intamacy that you are enabling because you may find yourself being more depended on rather then a support to the growth of someone else. Sometimes by allowing one to became too familiar it actually enables the other person rather then encourage their growth and prosperity.

Verletzbarkeit zu zeigen erfordert viel Mut und Selbstvertrauen. Schafft aber eine Basis für wirkliche und wahrhaftige Begegnungen. In dem man ganz bei sich bleibt und die eigenen Gefühle kommuniziert, schafft man einen Rahmen, der tieferen Zugang in Beziehungen ermöglicht. Privat und beruflich. Beruflich erfordert es etwas mehr Feingefühl und Dosierung.

Recently I had the opportunity to reconnect with an old acquaintence that happened to be ill and going through a rough time. She had little to no support and I had recalled when I was in the exact situation several years earlier. After having time speaking with her and discerning what her needs were I asked her if she would like me to help set her up with the supports I myself used. After being given the go ahead thats exactly what I did. I gathered as much information from her as I could and connected her with community supports that would fullfil her needs. By empathizing with her I was able to get her to talk to me about what she wanted and needed and was able to build a trusting relationship.

Respekt ist für mich einer meiner wichtigsten Werte. Jeder Mensch ist einzigartig. Darum ist es für mich wichtig, andere Meinungen und Sichtweisen anzuhören und zu verstehen. Durch gezieltes Fragen, ist es möglich, sich in sein Gegenüber hineinzufühlen und seinen eigenen Blickwinkel zu ändern oder auch nicht. Kommunikation auf Augenhöhe spielt dabei eine wichtige Rolle. Ebenso wie Authentizität. Ich selbst habe gelernt zu sagen, wenn ich etwas als respektlos empfinde. Manche fühlen sich vor den Kopf gestossen, doch viele regt es zur Selbstreflektion an.

Respect doesn't mean tolerating or enduring behaviours you do not like. It's simply accepting that not everyone will think and behave the way you approve of. Just as your words and actions won't be approved of by everyone. Ultimately, you need to develop healthy boundaries to be truly respectful.

Sometimes, it is simply just to genuinely be willing to give without expecting or wanting anything in return. Powerful people who constantly get approached will balk at hearing another pitch. During a conversation, if they display a need or concern, solve it...for free. That is one way to build rapport and goodwill... genuinely and without fake motivations.

You don't always have to be generous to a specific person to build great connections: Freely and publicly sharing helpful ideas as well as your stories - experiences, mistakes, and lessons learned - can be very helpful to the right individuals. I've found this to be prolly the most efficient way to build meaningful connections.

For as long as I can remember I've been face-timing my friends on a frequent basis. When I first did it, it was because of insecurity and fear of lonely-ness. Unexpectedly, as time passed, people would tell me I'm one of the only people who makes an effort to maintain and deepen relationships in this "busy" world. Now, I've outgrown my fear of loneliness but I make it a point to call, face-time, and text my friends. Sometimes I even put reminders in my phone do so. And this consistency has led me to some of my most fruitful relationships!

I think this is really the winning ticket to building meaningful connections. Learning about a person and what is important to them, taking time to really get to know someone and celebrating them is a great foundation. But how do we follow up on that? Do we continue all of the above, showing that we genuinely care about others consistently through our words and actions. It’s definitely something that requires effort. We must constantly and consistently work on our relationships to keep them strong.

The world is busy. We are all connected online. But, never before have people felt lonelier. Making time to reach out and check up on that person with thousands of followers is still more valuable than 1k likes and comments. Be consistent with those you care about. Generally speaking, and based on research as well, people tend to like us more than we think. Don't assume they don't want you.

Always communicate and be honest, be yourself, don’t be scared to do immediately start the conversation when needed. Be fair with people, keeping in mind that fairness and equality are two different things.

Ask good questions! If I am in a networking situation, I will ask several pretty basic questions, hoping to find a hook. "What do you do for fun" is my go-to. I love seeing people's eyes light up as they tell me about hiking or listening to true crime podcasts. Once I find a hook, I will go deeper! I love it because I am really getting to know someone better and they get to share a passion. Win-win!

The US has too many homeless Americans. If people, religious groups, corporations, and government agencies will adopt these characteristics, then every homeless person would be experiencing the opportunity to take steps towards reaching their self-actualization. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs are the most important and valuable guidelines. One person can sponsor one homeless person or family. Examples: A family can sponsor a homeless person by paying for three months of rent at a extended-type motel. Help them with applications for community Healthcare, jobs, and check up on them. A apartment complex can donate one or two units for a person or family. A corporate can sponsor an individual or family The above-mentioned examples.

Consider the power of shared experiences. Engage in activities or projects that align with your interests, fostering connections based on common passions. Additionally, be mindful of non-verbal cues and body language, as they often convey unspoken sentiments. Lastly, invest time in self-reflection to better understand your own values and how they align with those you seek to connect with. This self-awareness contributes to more authentic and meaningful connections.

Being a listener and understanding them. Try to put yourself in their place and analyze the problems and situations. Respond and not react.

Critical body language tips I apply for deeper connections: Maintaining a good eye contact. Undivided attention during conversations. Acknowledging by other person's name often. Sharing our own experiences to create space for vulnerability. Right face expression to not deviate from what is required. Gestures with physical touch can also help. Pat on the back of your TM in their wins, a brush on shoulder to remind them of your support. I encountered this at work- "2 months back one of my TM went through her third miscarriage. After she joined back, I asked about her health and how is she doing. Hugged her to remind her to stay strong and have faith in God. Atleast I can tell her as her manager, that we are here to support you."
