I believe in using not just engagement surveys but taking statistics on the usage of benefits, company event attendance, time spent on professional development and trying to reach the next career level as well as usage of company resources.

I use our internal channels as Yammer, Share Point pages, internal emailing open rates, etc to confirm if the message is correctly received. Also polls, games and surveys help me to understand the level of engagement in my international project
