Middle children are sociable and may differ from their older siblings. Youngest children: Have more independence, which may lead to risky or rebellious behaviour. Keep in mind that these tendencies are not absolute, and other factors such as gender and socioeconomic position also play a role.

While the first born try to balance between leadership positions and still being a child they might feel a sense of confusion in terms of their identity. These are some of the steps that should be taken during adolescence to help the child balance these roles: 1. It is the parents' responsibility to assign duties to the children. When the eldest child will realise that everyone has a role to play they will not feel over burdened. This also helps to inculcate values of being a team player. 2. The eldest child should be given acute liberty to delegate work to their sibling. For example, if the eldest child is being made responsible to see to it that everyone is in a clean plate club it is much likely that they will also be in the same club.

Les aînés sont en général des choisis de la nature d'après l'opinion populaire. Ils sont ceux qui ont un leadership naturel et une faculté à toujours résoudre les problèmes avec équité effectivement. Cependant, ils se retrouvent souvent isolés car les cadets ne comprennent pas ou comprennent trop tard leurs choix et décisions. C'est une position qui finit dans certains cas par devenir un fardeau pour certains et cela a des répercussions dans la dynamique familiale, engendrant incompréhensions et conflits.

Along with open communication there are some other methods that should be inculcated by the parents to address the above issue: 1. Middle children should be taught the importance of problem solving. They should be motivated to not give up on conflict resolution. 2. They should be put in leadership roles often. When the middle child sees the results of problem solving by themselves they will be more motivated to solve problems. 3. Middle children should not be given the burden of taking the brunt of every deed that younger and older child. Middle children should not feel trapped between the sibling relationship.

I think this opinion is quite a stereotype driven opinion. Younger children's role should be seen without the blinkers of stereotype in the following manner: 1. There has been a shift in the attitude of younger children and they are being more responsible now. 2. Younger children should not be treated as the carefree one. They should be taught to be grateful about the efforts that others in the family are taking for them. 3. Younger children should be taught to gain insights from the elders and nurture their life be it in terms of studies or otherwise. At the same time they should not be bombarded by too many opinions.

I agree with this perspective.Due to lack of opportunities they might face problems in adjusting to a team. They should be delegated work. They should be taught to transit between delegate and delegatee roles.

I believe this is not true. Parents are being more and more responsible. Parents are shifting the way from traditional notions as mentioned above. Parents are now treating all the children on the same pedestal. I agree that the parents should be aware of the biases and try to be fair towards all the children. Children should be taught to be team players and occasionally be put in leadership roles too.

Dans une fratrie, cette influence, c'est avant tout la quête de l'identité et le besoin de reconnaissance inconditionnelle, savoir que l'on est, et savoir que l'on est aimé. Elle peut être à l'origine de conflits si l'influence est volontairement orientée vers l'un ou l'autre des frères ou sœurs.. L'influence parentale, c'est surtout cette trace viscérale et indélébile de nos ainés, qui refera surface aux instants où on s'y attendra le moins..
