First, we must start with the concept or question of what is waste? waste can be any element in the physical realm. My experience in this area sforty years ago when I first became interested in "alternative" energy as defined by the PURPA requirements for mandatory purchase by existing investor owned electric utilities.my group reached and awareness that the term MSW used to describe Municipal Solid Waste would be more accurately described as "mystery"substance waste. And therein lies the problem And, as I write this,I'm realizing that discussing this infinitely amorphous topic is a waste of time.

The tecnologies to convert waste In energy are available, but the issue is the costs related to the use of this tecnologies. In my opinion, the goverments could promote legislations to reduce the taxes and promote subsidies to dispread the use of this technologies, in medium or long term it would become more competitive in relation to the fossil fuels, and considering the environmental benefits, it would become popular.
