One thing I have found very helpful that if there is any misunderstanding within the team members due to xyz reasons, try to resolve it talking about it without pin pointing the individual. Also, responsibilities should be clearly assigned, it reduces confusion & misunderstandings. Empathy is very crucial within the team. It helps understanding each one of us & accordingly we can act.

The leader needs to define the role of each person before starting work on a project to avoid most misunderstandings. That being said, there is bound to some if members of the team are from diverse backgrounds of knowledge and expertise. Stay professional and listen to each individual and focus on the issue. Do not, at any cost, get personal with your remarks. Intervene early, because small misunderstandings can get out of hand real fast. To prevent further problems, regularly check up on your team and make sure everyone is on the same page, going forward.
