Na minha experiência precisa se investir no processo de manutenção. Usar alguma fase do TPM (Manutenção Produtiva Total), efetuar o controle dos processos através de planos e cronogramas assertivos e escopos de corretiva, preventiva e preditiva, e inspeções.

In tackling inefficiencies within plant operations, I focused on a comprehensive equipment assessment, identifying which machines most impacted production flow due to age or breakdown frequency. I prioritized upgrades for these key assets, allowing us to target high-impact areas without a full-scale overhaul. Additionally, I implemented a preventive maintenance schedule, significantly reducing unplanned downtime and extending equipment lifespan. I developed a cross-training program for operators, enabling them to manage multiple machines seamlessly. This approach not only minimized disruptions but also increased overall productivity, as we could adapt quickly to operational demands and mitigate workflow bottlenecks.

Un ejemplo que he visto son las limitantes de nuestros empresarios como la incertidumbre de comprar maquinaria nueva o no, pero si en el caso es que aún no les sea viable es bueno reinventarnos como ingeniería de procesos para hacer varios análisis y mediciones para explorar y replantear nuevas formas de hacernos eficiente ya sea por productividad o para poder hacer nuevas líneas de productos o procesos de materiales en lo cual me tocó vivirlo hace mucho tiempo el cual me siento muy satisfecho el poder innovar con maquinaria obsoleta pero con buenos resultados para lograrlo bajo ciertos límites claro está pero llegando al objetivo o muy cerca de el!!
