2 UDP protocol

UDP, or User Datagram Protocol, is a connectionless protocol that provides fast and simple data transmission. To make the best choice, you must carefully analyze and compare several factors, such as the type and nature of the data, performance and efficiency of transmission, reliability and security of transmission, and flexibility and adaptability of transmission. Consider if the data is continuous or discrete, sensitive or tolerant to errors or delays, structured or unstructured. Assess how fast and frequent the data transmission is, how much bandwidth and resources are available, how much overhead and latency is acceptable, how important data delivery is, how likely data loss or corruption is, how vulnerable transmission is to external threats or attacks, how variable or dynamic network conditions are, how customizable or configurable the protocol is, and how compatible or interoperable it is with other applications or devices. Ultimately, you may decide to use one protocol over another for your network application - or even a combination of TCP and UDP protocols.

TCP vs UDP has me wondering when has unreliability ever been preferred over speed. In the age where information is king, I’m willing to pull more resources for a longer amount of time to get the data I need in an expected time frame. The only example I can think of where speed is really concerned would be the stock market and even then, I need reliable information.
