There are many new AI tools and plugins available which can do an impressive "quick and dirty" key, but when you need a higher end/realistic key, you should use at least two large, diffused light sources pointed at your background from each side at a roughly 45 degree angle. You'll pan them to essentially create a Venn diagram, but since the light sources will be very soft, there should not be any dramatic "hot spots"... the exposure should be as even as possible across the whole backdrop.
