Make sure not to focus only on keywords but to dig deeper and even if the candidate is missing something on the resume give them a change to talk with them sometimes, not everyone has a well-crafted resume.

Have at least three top things to look at consistently across candidates. Regardless of how well you optimize your tech bots or whatever other tools you use to screen the resumes, it is always nice to go back and see if there are any gaps in the resumes.

But if you get a feel that a candidate is good, pick up the candidate and call, it would be a couple of mins to realize if the candidate is a match or not.
