In my experience hand hold teams through the first feedback sessions. Coach leaders and managers in not just the process but the right spirit of feedback. Then monitor the impact the next year by checking in with employees on how useful the exercise has been. Additionally use analytics to see the co-relation of compensation to performance. Contradictions should be discussed and understood. Or corrected. So this way the input and output are measured and guided.
