There is so much great content that you can get from a speaking engagement. Ideally there is someone there shooting the entire event. Not just you as the speaker, but crowd reaction, engagement, even video testimonials. In my contract, I always specify that there will be a videographer, and barring emergency, if they lose their videographer, they need to notify me at least a week in advance, so I can try to bring in my own crew. If they are shooting, I require them to give me my footage within two business days, otherwise they tend to forget and it takes forever to get it to you.
