Bringing meaningful experiences will also help you, so my suggestion is to participate in many HACKATHONS, Open Innovation programmes and as many innovation and science competitions as you can. Your CV will shine like gold after this.

Then create a portfolio on projects you enjoy and that could allow others to understand how and why you use technology. Interships or freelance projects are a good way to demonstrate your potential and network. Do not hesitate to reach out to others, in those innovative fields everything change fast so do not be afraid to ask questions.
