Sometimes the nowadays project management software is too advance so beginner project manager needs to adapt in 2 conditions: the project and the software. To reduce complexity, just let the project manager focus on the project, and change the tools to “the basic” one, like for example: using “post it in the wall”. In the end tools is just tools, not a means to enhance your project management skills
