Connecting with Agile professionals at industry conferences can be a valuable way to expand your network, share knowledge, and learn from others in the field. Continuous conversation begins with appreciating the speaker's insights by thanking them or expressing gratitude during one-on-one conversations. Building a strong connection can be established by seeking guidance from them and sharing our perspectives to validate our assumptions. To maintain a lasting connection, it is important to value their thoughts and express support for their ideas. What we focus on grows!

If you are invited to any conference, then read out the agenda & objectives of the invite. Indulge yourself in learning & deep diving the topics of interest. Prepare on some of your insights & also some questions where your curiosity resides & go ahead. Introduce yourself succinctly, mentioning your mutual interests or specific aspects of their work you admire. Be genuine in your interaction, and if possible, suggest a follow-up meeting or way to stay in contact. Remember, experts are often approached by many people, so make your interaction memorable by being insightful and considerate.

Firstly I would like to know the industry experts and their domain. Then I would be following them on various professional networking media and later follow the kind of research analysis they are conducting. Also,I would be finding out the oppurtunities available local and try to attend those conferences. Most importantly networking with various industry experts gives us the overview of whats happening in the market like how the technologies are getting evolved inorder to solve the existing problems. Moreover, I would like to engage actively with the industry experts in a way that I am more interested in having such meaningful interactions and way more open for opportunities where I can improve my learning experience

Participate actively in workshops, panels, and discussions relevant to your field and the expert's interests. Volunteer for activities or sessions where experts are involved; this can increase your visibility and present opportunities for interaction. Networking events, lunches, and coffee breaks are prime times to approach experts. Be ready with a concise introduction about yourself and a comment or question that shows your knowledge and interest in their work. Join group discussions they're part of, contributing thoughtfully to catch their attention. Use social media to engage with the conference's hashtags, sharing insights or highlights from sessions, especially those involving the experts.

Your ultimate aim is not to just connect with leaders and get their contact. You aim should be to remain in their circle of influence. Aim is to be continuously learn, one needs to keep on revising agile concepts in order to stick to agile principles. It is easy to be swayed while working with a team. Over time, ad-hoc practices are made, what's important is to keep them in check.

Pretty much most of the key points are covered and very insightful. If I have to add it would be doing a stakeholder analysis of the conference contributors and key participants so that the outcomes and expectations are met and well managed.

The previous items are all valid and very important. One thing I would consider is to find a way for the speaker or “your new connection” to come to your workplace and evangelize the topic or topics the two of you are passionate about. Having a very well known figure often helps you get your messages across. You’re no longer the lone voice in the desert crying “repent your old ways!” Instead, you have a figure of authority backing you up and you get to keep your proverbial head.
