What do you do if you want to infuse artistic flair into your conference design?

I can say this --- First impressions are everything and the welcome you receive at check in may dictate the success of. a conference. If traveling to the conference is an ordeal, the people who get there might not. be in the best shape at first! Be sure There are plenty of helpful people to greet them and solve problems as necessary. If there are times when you need to travel to Other parts of your host city, be sure to have options available for all your guests. Shared ride services are in most cities-- but they are not obligated to carry all passengers. During the planning stages, I Find it helps to have a lot of input from many different sources. That way the conference can turn out to be a complete success for everyone.

Great events all start with a terrific back story. This backstory tells your guests why you're there and gives. them a sense of urgency. It could be about a person, a thing. an idea. Conferences always give their guests A reason to get together, safe social space, a call to action. and something To take with them. An idea that helps them solve the problem In their community. Use a storyboard to keep your ideas consistent. Your themes, Colors, etcetera are all part of that core message. The storyboard is a great reference in that everyone can refer back to it. Frequent visits to the board. reinforces the message for the volunteers as well. as planner speakers. and other participants.

At one conference, I learned how to create a photo book Which I took home and improved upon. The result was more a scrapbook or a journal, really. It consisted of the ideas we shared, new friends and conference memories. Later on I added photos on the conference topic, from other events throughout the year.

It's particularly interesting if you use local musicians and artists. Use Instrumental musicians to create quiet space. Special works of art -- by conference members make conversation between guests of the conference easier. This creates Great memories and tends to bring people back to your area the next. time

I have found drawing people in personalized scenarios and projecting the drawings in progress to be successful at engaging people at meetings and events.

Any presentation you make or. offer to your guests needs to have a take home element, something that they can remember attached to the conference specifically. days and dates are really helpful in recalling. fun times and setting calendars year to year.
