This way you are close to home and won’t have the additional anxiety of traveling. Approach five people (vendors count) ask questions about their favorite tools to use, or what they like about the company they work for. Finally, follow up with some of the presenters at the conference. It’s a way to give feedback and make connections related to your interests.
