Implementing PDCA cycles is a great way to check progress through each phase. In my last career we called this IPRs (In Progress Reviews). Each IPR starts with evaluating outputs from the last meeting, moving to where we are with the planning now, and then establish outputs for the next meeting. It is important that each output be assigned to a team member to action to ensure project completion and to stay on schedule.
