What does a front desk executive do?

In my opinion, they are the "face of the company" as they are the first person that others (customers, candidate, supplier, employee, etc.) come across when coming to the office. Being pleasant and helpful sets a good first impression about the company. People always remember the first impression they experience (despite the outcome of their visit).

A front desk executive handles visitor greetings, phone calls, appointment scheduling, mail management, and maintains a tidy reception area. They manage inquiries, complaints, and requests, and may assist with data entry, filing, invoicing, and reporting in some organizations.

A front office executive is responsible for- Welcoming the guest Registering the guest Handling cash flow Book keeping Provide excellent guest service Handling guest complaints Preparing daily and monthly reports.
