well that is always on the side bench and is not respected as supposed to be. we have to acknowledge that successful retrospective means a piece of code/task is done, reviewed and potentially released. so business values are obtained and cashed as money (maybe not received yet into account, but that is the equation) so why not celebrating it structurally as our colleague collaborated in this article?!

1) Have a 1-hr session at a fixed time once every 2 weeks at a usual place outside office, e.g. McD. Make it casual such that everyone looks forward to attend. We nicknamed ours as the Nugget session as the boss usually treats the 20-pc McNuggets. 2) Get everyone used to prepare 3 key things that happened during the prior 2 weeks - what went well, what did not go well, and what we can improve. Can be done in different manner, but these 3 are the standard things to think about before coming. 3) No repurcussions for being direct/honest, and make it known that the boss always follow up. Everyone gets to talk equally, including interns/temp staff, and boss to speak last. Can talk about non-work topic if the prior 2 weeks were too hectic.
