What are the most important factors that impact student motivation?

Intrinsic motivation has been repeatedly linked to improved results, increased interest in learning, a greater ratio of successfully accomplished goals, as well as more autonomy. Extrinsic motivation can be beneficial. It can give the boost necessary to get over a hurdle. Actually, there is only One source of motivation, when a student or any individual "sees light ahead" or at least at the end of the tunnel. Therefore, a student will only study when they see dividends to their effort. This is why it's so so imperative that they are allowed access to the rightful in greater strength than what is available of the wrongful. "Just do it" was the worst bait that caused losses for students by way of restricting parental and then teacher guidance.
