You can start simple - it is crucial to start. You can set 2-3 goals with your team and define cadence - how often will you meet in a group or 1-on-1 to discuss the progress and result toward these goals. It is okay to keep it simple to start, important to start and have constant follow-ups and the possibility to track and measure.

As a leader, it is important to provide education to your team. Diversity and Inclusiveness will not grow on it's own. Provide suitable training sessions to your leadership team about unconscious biases, inclusiveness, etc. Implement proper boundaries to set up an inclusive environment, define and bring to life leadership principles that foster inclusiveness. Live, hire and promote people accordingly. In an inclusive environment, where everyone feels safe, and can speak up and be heard - diversity will follow. Without the right inclusive environment, any plans regarding diversity will fail and be doomed.
