When it comes to identifying the Choice of operating system, I would more over focus on the user experience, performance and productivity. What features within the operating system would help improve my work by utilizing the tools and products offered within the specific OS. I myself has been engaged in the EUC industry and have learned a lot by delivering desktop as service to multiple end users originated from different geographical regions. Operating system should be robust enough to adapt to different applications depending on the business needs. Be it running BI Analytics tool or collaboration softwares. Every application needs to consume resources and OS should be capable of distributing processing power to optimize user experience.
