In order to make sustainable fashion more accessible I believe it starts at the top. Who's establishing pay and who's establishing pricing. If it's not affordable, make it affordable. Pay employees a living wage to where they can obtain sustainable clothing. If it means top-level Executives taking a pay cut to support a positive global impact - that's a worthy investment for everyone on this planet.

I worked for a large fashion retailer that frequently had seams pop, straps break etc. Often out of fear of garment waste and loss of revenue, I'd apply my knowledge of garment construction to quickly repair items brought to the counter. This wasn't a service the company offered but clients loved it and it made me feel good another garment was saved from the damage/trash bin. Always repair/re-use any and all that you can. Every little bit matters.
