To integrate new modules without sacrificing scalability, start by focusing on modular design. Each module should operate independently, ensuring minimal impact on the overall system. For example, when adding a new inventory module, ensure it connects to existing systems via APIs rather than altering core structures. Also, test in stages - deploy in small increments. This way, your system grows smoothly, avoiding bottlenecks or overwhelming the server as you expand, ensuring flexibility for future needs.
-
1. Checking system compatibility to avoid performance problems. 2. Using a modular setup so adding or removing parts is easy. 3. Testing thoroughly before full deployment to find issues early. 4. Involving key team members to make sure the system meets business needs. 5. Monitoring performance after integration to fix any new issues.
-
Following points may be considered while incorporating a new module in an ERP System, 1. Use an ERP system designed to support additional modules easily. 2. Check if the current infrastructure can handle the new module. 3. Use cloud-based ERP for flexible scaling of resources. 3. Implement APIs or middleware for smooth communication between modules. 4. Test the new module in a controlled environment to prevent disruptions. 5. Continuously monitor the system post-integration to ensure efficiency and scalability.

To Integrated new module at high level I will do these steps : 1) Refresh UAT (User acceptance test) system with latest production data. 2) Run regular workload or process and measure performance (CPU, Memory, IO, latency). 3) Integrate new module and do unit testing. 4) Integrate new module with other ERP module and perform same step 2. 5) If all test went well and acceptable than perform same steps 1-4 on production.
