Well, in my point of view promotion is the right of every individual and it must be well on time. First of all i will probe the issues why his promotion got delayed by muself and then i call him to my office and try to listen his grivences and gave him a proper picture and then try to uplift his lost moral by giving some examples from my life and from my near ones. And lastly ensure him i will do every effort to fullfil this loss and ensure him that i stand by him at each and every step.
