One security measure I have found helpful is Firewalls. They are very essential tools in defending networks against security threats. A firewall can help prevent unauthorized access to ones network by blocking incoming traffic from untrusted sources. In addition one can configure it to allow specific traffic to ones network.

Asses risks , run networking tests and implement security procedures to protect it always and then , finally run the security infrastructure for it.

I agree with enforcement of security policies. As a librarian, I will secure my network. It will be under cyber security / IT team. When I will got to know about the any threat on our library network, I will assess it and inform the IT team for solution.

From library network point of view I consider both library resources and Human Resources equally important along with Continuous up-gradation of required technical infrastructure especially back end system to maintain backup of each resource in in triplicate using different storage devices/ mechanism. An alert system is very important at every step.User feedback at every step also keep the library officers always alert for security of the library network.shall recommend to strictly follow cyber security guidelines and keep the same on high priority.
