Collect and categorize user feedback to identify key themes. 2. Prioritize feedback that aligns with your long-term strategy and goals. 3. Keep stakeholders and users informed about roadmap changes and timelines. 4. Release prototypes or beta versions to validate changes before full rollout, gathering feedback along the way. 5. Not all feedback needs to be acted upon. Stick to your product’s core vision. 6. Track the impact of changes on key metrics. By staying agile, prioritizing wisely, and communicating clearly, you can adapt to user feedback while maintaining a strategic roadmap.

Product Roadmap is a living document. Roadmap should be updated as when the need arises and to be prioritized accordingly. When there is a change needed in the roadmap to accommodate the user feedback. First thing is to access the impact of the change. Is it going to be a big feature change or a small enhancement, estimate the effort required. Prioritization should always be done basis the need, urgency and efforts. It is so easy to get the focus diluted while working on multiple adhoc requests and hence it is quite critical to strike the balance without impacting the long term vision and goals. Product managers should always have a constant check on how product roadmaps are deviating and make sure does not impact the actual product vision.
