There are often very diverse skills in a team. Make it a priority to get to know each person and what are their skills, what they would like to learn. Check in with them regularly to see if any of these have changed. Would they like to take on more, less, something they have always wanted to do, something they are supposedly good at but dont like. Many people go to volunteering to learn something new. Great communication, and mentorship can ignite or aspire members to try new things, always keep the options open. Volunteering is a magical thing, and time is very precious and appreciated by all.

Tasks should not all way be given to the person with the right skill. tasks should be an opportunity to continue developing new skills. Some times needing encouragement as people can see things you can do but think not me after having a go and find you can. Volunteering can be a way of finding we all have hoiden talents
