When I was studying psychology, and working on my thesis, The real reasons behind absenteeism, I found out that is people’s way of expressing their lack of motivation and engagement. As an EI coach, I recommend: - bring the issue into the table; the worst thing is not to talk about it. -let them know that it’s ok to feel exhausted, and that you sometimes have experienced the same - verify what meetings are not necessary and just delete them from the team’s calendar - bring an expert in wellbeing to help with coping mechanisms. - Be empathetic with them, listening with open heart - Be more a coach than a manager - Use your breathing to lower the stress - mindfulness practices -Be an Example on managing stress and emotional regulation 🌱

Using active listening to truly understand their challenges. Encouraging a balanced workload, flexible schedules, and moments of rest to recharge. I must lead by example: model healthy boundaries and self-care, prioritize team well-being and celebrate small wins to reignite motivation. Ultimately rebuilding engagement through understanding, compassion, and purposeful action.
