If that is an issue, you may have forced yourself upon that client to begin with. Your creative vision and integrity are hyperbolic concepts applied when one is being inflexible or over committed with unclear expectations. Typically a client comes to me because they saw something in my style and abilities that is going to help them get to their vision. Vetted clients and thorough briefings would avoid much frustration or conflicting visions.

First meetings are crucial. In the sense you can establish there what is included, also the target audience, and if this is not clear to your client establish a marketing analysis. When you have those elements at your hand you can "set a common ground" or mutual goal. As you have establish these you can scopae revisions, and a communication to follow, set boundaries and avoid some excessive revisions. Keep in mind changes are in the track always but try to "be these minor changes" that are usual not something that is striking at your eyes.

Set Clear Expectations: From the outset, establish what aspects of the design are non-negotiable and where there is room for flexibility.

At the same time, I make sure to set clear boundaries from the start, so the project stays focused and balanced without endless revisions. In the end, it is about creating something that tells a story while respecting both perspectives.
