Ugh. "how do you outshine colleagues" – please drop that competitive, comparative mindset. It makes you mean-spirited and keeps you in fear mode. You'll obsess over the vanity metrics and constantly be worried about what other people are doing. You'll never develop the kind of distinctive voice that attracts followers if you stay stuck in comparisons.

Set yourself apart by focusing on authenticity and delivering real value. Instead of aiming to impress, concentrate on addressing genuine needs and challenges within your field. Engage thoughtfully with your audience, ask questions, and learn from their insights. Thought leadership is about depth, not just visibility.

I think working as a team and use 'we' instead of 'I' is the step of leadership ladder. Thinking out of the box or do things in different manner so that we get effective results. Ready to help others whenever they need. Giving suggestions rather than order.

Outshining colleagues in thought leadership is all about authenticity, consistency, and value. I focus on sharing unique insights and perspectives that resonate with my audience. It's not just about being the loudest voice, but the most impactful one. Engaging with the community, staying updated with the latest trends, and continuously learning are key. And, of course, being genuine and passionate about what I share makes a huge difference. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
