Job searching can feel challenging, but it’s important to focus on the positives. Celebrate small wins, like completing an application or getting a call-back, even if it’s not the final result you hoped for. Rejections aren’t personal—they’re about fit, not your worth. Use this time to upskill or network. Join webinars, connect with industry peers, or take a course to feel productive and confident in your abilities. Keep a list of your achievements to remind yourself of your strengths. And don’t forget to take care of yourself. Step away when it gets overwhelming—rest and recharge so you can come back stronger. Confidence is built in these small, consistent steps. You’re making progress, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.

Well, oftenly this is not a desired situation. However to have positive attitude is important. What has worked for me: * Think that better options are coming * Learn new things, for instance see what is your next goal and prepare yourself for it * Stay connected with your network, there is nothing bad on stay unemployee * Do excercise, and eat healthy * Keep the discipline as you use to do while working, read, learn, look into the market and check what is being required for the position you are looking for (and fill those gaps) * Be caution with your expenses, use your money wisely and just for really important things. * Take it as an opportunity and maybe is the moment to change the path and start your own business.

To maintain confidence during a prolonged job search, focus on your strengths and celebrate small wins, such as securing interviews or networking milestones. Set achievable goals to stay motivated, continuously upgrade your skills, and seek feedback for improvement. Surround yourself with a supportive network, practice self-care, and remind yourself that the right opportunity takes time. Stay optimistic and view each challenge as a step toward growth and success.
