Skepticism arises from timeline , ability to deliver , value of what is being delivered. These three things need to be broken down into components and explained. Why is this on roadmap and for who, how do we measure if it's going to be useful and what data we used to get it there. Timeline show that we have the capacity and understanding of what is needed to deliver and ability meaning we have the right resources to do so. If each of these components are addressed then the skepticism is debunked through data.

Start by being transparent about the roadmap’s goals and timelines, acknowledging any risks and challenges honestly. Explain how each part of the roadmap ties back to our customers needs and the company’s long-term vision. By sharing data, user feedback and any early results that show positive trends, I’ll help them see that our approach is informed and strategic. Also stay open to their input, showing that their concerns are valid and valued, which can help us refine the plan together and create a sense of shared ownership.
