You can use python or graphQL or even add it to your LLM. Doesn’t matter how to get the job done. You’re the expert. Then you’re going to run the model, increasing the amount of salary for your position each time. When it’s spitting out the number you want, simply give your manager the query and they will see the new “mean” salary for your position. Duh.

I think saying "know your value" is wrong and will lead to false pretenses of meritocracy. It's about supply and demand - in AI, right now, there's massive demand, and the ones who can walk the walk and deliver can ask for high salaries. But know this, the only way the high performers can ask for significant $$$ is because the adage "the tide rises all boats". So, don't confuse the tide with your "worth".
