Instagram and tiktok have been some of my biggest sources in finding my community in that i can truly find other photographers in my area of specialty and follow or DM them to try and connect and talk with them to try and learn more. Instagrams ‘channels’ have particularly been helpful in finding discourse channels that can be specific topics like BTS content, gear knowledge and recommendations, and even looking for jobs.

Recently Instagram are less about photography and aimed towards short videos. Instagram isn't best place for photographers anymore. Way more reach and connection between photographers is provided by Threads nowdays.

Collaborer et mettre en avant d’autres photographes ne vous fera pas perdre de clients. Chaque photographe à sa signature, sa vision et sa maîtrise du métier, si un client se tourne vers un autre photographe, ce n’est pas qu’il est meilleur ou moins cher, c’est souvent qu’il correspond plus à la vision que le client a du travail qu’il souhaite voir effectué. Alors en donnant de la visibilité à d’autres photographes (en ayant la même chose en retour), vous ne perdrez pas de possibles clients car ce ne sont pas vos clients cibles qui choisiront un confrère ou une consœur. Il y a autant de photographes que de vision de la photographie. Un client qui vous prend pour autre chose que votre vision ou votre patte, sera plus difficile à combler.
