As I understand to start Electrical Engineering project means understanding requirements and design of electrical systems based on electrical base standards and procedures. For this phase aptitude for design is important and software tools available should be used as support after the scheme and concept is finalised. Time planning and monitoring tools can be used for planning over all projects and monitoring progress of design and execution stages. Presentation tools like Cad softwares, BIM, coordination tools like Revit and review tools like ETAP or similar free tools can be used for drawings, design coordination and review after development stage.

Chaque logiciel a ses bon côtés, et ses mauvais cotés. Pour la capture schématique Cadence, CR8000, Altium Designer qui permettent en général de router aussi les cartes. Pour la simulation électronique, je dois dire que je suis un peu dubitatif, par le fait que les composants électronique soit si bien modélisés que cela. J'ai bien souvent été confronté à des problèmes dans le réel que je ne voyais pas en simulation. Sinon LTSPICE, comme il est gratuit et qu'on peut importer un modèle de son choix

Now many software are available and Revit is one of them which can help to eliminate the futuristic obstacles and improve the vision.

Design and simulation - For simple designs free tools like LTspice For advanced designs - Cadence orcad, Pads dxdesigner, Altium schematic design, Eagle tool etc. other simple low cost tools like Circuit maker etc also are good options Many of these support direct simulation too 2. E-Cad Cadence Allegro, Pads, eagle, Zuken Cadstar, Zuken E3 tool, many more exists support free, low cost and complex designs. Many of these tools support pcb layout simulations like SI, PI, Thermal, EMC etc.. 3. Mcad AutoCAD, Siemens NX, Mentor, Catia and many others support integration of all 3D models and mechanical analyses. Almost all higher end tools support auto eco updatea and fully linked schematic, bom and pcb design.

Often such software offers a 3D viewer that helps you to visualize your design before it gets manufactured. The 3D files are compatible with CAD software so a mechanical engineer can ensure your design fits the assembly of the device it is designed for.

Though the design and configuration may vary and softwares may vary the main part to consider is or system, communication mode i.e., ethernet, modbus etc. The driver also the real time data feed i.e., both hardware and software sync with in their min time for better accuracy and precision in operation programmed. Simulation softwares are a great way to start building any projects. It gives the perfect platform to start building one's own ideas and logic into the circuit design. There is no worry of any malfunctioning or damaging of any components. It saves a lot of money and resources and more importantly it gives the flexibility to try and implement new ideas. It helps to verify and validate our complex design of the circuit before starting to assemble the hardware prototypes. Some of these tools are MATLAB, PSPICE, PSCAD, PROTEUS, MULTISIM and many more. It provides a very cost effective way to do research projects without wasting excessive amount of resources. It also helps us to analyse and improve existing models as well.

I suggest using python. It’s free available and very powerful due to numerous toolboxes which are ready to use, for example for data visualization and machine learning.

There really is no wrong answer here. After working in several different vendor IDEs it can become tiresome constantly switching back and forth. To remedy this I recommend moving to using VSCode solely as your editor and using a combination of ARM GCC and CMake for your toolchain. This not only provides a consistent environment across projects but also brings you closer to the toolchain and build process allowing you to have a better understanding of their inter-workings.

Personally C is my preferred language to code in. its simple and straight forward. it is very simple. Best part of it installation file is so small and can work up till windows 10

A lot of devices have nowadays interfaces like USB or Ethernet on board, so you can use your PC and setup for example with python a fast measurement setup. If you want to be independent of an OS like Windows in some case where you have time constraints or want to do longer measurements it is better to have an external setup with for example Labview measurement stacks.

A measurement software helps in numerous ways. It can measure the signals. It can convert the Analog signals to Digital signals and vice versa. Using these one can connect the simulation softwares directly to the hardware interface. It enables to directly feed the digital logic to the circuit. At the same time it can import actual signals as feedback and convert it to digital signals so that one can use the signals to develop their own logic arrangement and feedback the output back to the circuit. It can also enable users to remote control using wireless technologies as well. Example are LabView is such a product. It provides a programming environment for developing complex logics for various purposes.

I suggest MS Teams for project communication. For data exchange, NextCloud can be an effective tool. For general project management MS Project can be used.

A collaboration software helps engineers around the world to connect with each other. They can work on a project together on such platforms. They can also help out each other and find help for themselves in such a platform. It enables quick learning and more rapid development of technology and creative ideas. These types are generally in industry where lots of people will be working on a project and they all remain connected through a platform so that there is transparency and there is rapid progress of work. In this way they increase productivity and efficiency.

Slack is a valuable tool for collaboration within project teams (engineers, operators, stakeholders, etc.), for several reasons: 1/ Slack enables project teams to share files, documents, and progress while facilitating real-time communication. 2/ Information can be efficiently organized into channels, categorized by projects, teams, or specific topics. 3/ Project teams can easily connect tools like Google Drive, Dropbox, GitHub, or project management platforms to Slack.

I think collaboration software is a basic necessity to start an electrical engineering project , thou we have an idea regarding the project. Whenever we go to the sites we have some primary discussions with another engineers such as civil , mechanical , geo , metallurgical experts etc. such as to complete the project with coordination within the stipulated period

Para a comuniação do projeto e entre equipe gosto de utilizar o Teams. Para a troca de dados, o NextCloud é ferramenta eficaz e muito usual. Agora quando vamos falar sobre gerenciamento de projetos o MS Project é imbativel. Mais duas dicas, o Trello para organização dos trabalhos e o TeamViwer para trabalhos em máquina remota, são os melhores.
