"Digitalisation is the key to get decarbonisation". One can achieve energy savings standalone, however can't improve the efficiency and continous improvement without integration of smart systems.

One thing I have found helpful is to avoid business as usual model and its weakness. Deciding on energy efficiency initiatives solves a narrow initiative. New way of looking at concrete as enabled thermally active and rechargeable battery and not as passive "thermal mass" makes a distinctive difference. This type of buildings have been validated in various climate zones. They work equally well in both heating and cooling modes in addition to multiple positive indoor wellness outcomes and lower maintenance costs. Smaller heating and cooling systems, year round thermal energy storage and significantly fresher buildings elevate regular buildings to Class A building.
