In my previous and actual experience, focusing on specific segments of the market is key to success in filling your pipeline. When you are clear of the value proposal of your service, you can define which segments will be a match. Then you need to leverage on your network and start sharing your proposal in a calma and personal interaction. Engage on 1 to 1 meetings where trust is build and follow up constantly to confirm the niche you are focusing on is the correct one. Give time to explore each niche and don’t be afraid of changing lanes if you are not seeing results. Their are many segments and sub segments in the markets, so be constantly looking on how you can generate value to them.

As a CEO, I'll tell you that finding your first clients in a new consulting business hinges on leveraging your network and expertise.
