From its inception, 1 Reputation, LLC has purposed to provide independent and well-researched advice to companies purposing to be ethical. Our firm was founded in 2021 by Brent Longnecker who has had 36 years of consulting experience with KPMG Peat Marwick and Deloitte & Touche, where he served as Regional and National Partner respectively. In 2003, he formed Longnecker & Associates - an independent consultancy firm that specialized in executive and board compensation issues. Over that time, it became apparent that there were two types of client companies - those that purposed to be ethical and those that did not. With the sweeping changes and complexities surrounding pay - coupled with significant government reform - it became apparent that companies purposing to be ethical would significantly differentiate themselves from those that did not. 1 Reputation, LLC was "born" out of the need to represent companies, executives and boards who understand their most important asset is their REPUTATION. 1 Reputation, LLC is founded on almost four decades of experience and a strong, moral compass. We operate solely on honesty, integrity, independence and purpose on finding clients that appreciate that differentiation. Bottom-line, ethics are absolute, not situational. Similarly, compensation is either reasonable or it's not. 1 Reputation, LLC works on helping companies achieve absolute, positive, ethical solutions that impact their need to attract, retain and motivate the talent needed in today's ever-changing and ultra-competitive environment.

NACD (National Association of Corporate Directors) always does a great job at board education, and in the 30 years I have been associated with them, this was another spectacular speaker and discussion. The truly engaging patriot and moderator, Alan Crain, did an exceptional job! The General is arguably one of the smartest people I have ever been around. NACD also blessed Brent Longnecker & his wife Shelly by having them sit with the General during lunch. After just five minutes with him, you are without a doubt thankful to be an American! Great job again to Jenn Cox and the NACD Texas TriCities Chapter!
