On February 12, 2024, the Department of the Air Force announced a major overhaul aimed at ensuring the Air Force and Space Force remain dominant in the face of Great Power Competition. Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall, alongside other senior leaders, revealed 24 strategic decisions to reshape, refocus, and reoptimize both forces.
