🔆 Did you know that there is some GOOD news about burnout? If you have experienced burnout, you are likely an exceptional leader. You have become one of the few people that have reached their full potential and maximized their capacity. 🔅 On the other hand, no one wants to experience the negative effects of burnout. Here is a practical, 6-step approach to avoiding burnout as outlined by Anthony A. Dicks, Jr.: 1️⃣ Write. Take time to write out your personal mission and goals. 2️⃣ Read. Meditate on what you've written. 3️⃣ Run. After you've written and read your goals, run after them! 4️⃣ Rest. Prioritize a period of rest after running, based on your needs. 5️⃣ Review. Periodically evaluate what you wrote, read, and how you ran towards your personal mission. 6️⃣ Repeat. Make it a ritual to schedule time every quarter to re-read what you've written so you have the stamina and diligence to continue to run towards your goals! #180MG #Burnout #Nonprofits
