Back in the big city with OG Bitcoiners for the Benzinga Digital Asset conference yesterday. Spent much of the time onstage with this crew minus newly minted "Bitcoin Supercycle" author Michael Terpin plus Perianne Boring, who did a brilliant near TED talk quality summary of the new developments in DC. Maja Vujinovic also added a few very smart quips on the panel. Suffice it to say, this group was wildly bullish about the changes coming to the US blockchain/crypto world and no one was surprised at #bitcoin 90k+. All now expecting a US specific Defi/onchain renaissance. Dan Morehead and I went old school with the jackets, harkening back to our early 90s days working near the Trade Center. Raoul Pal would have nothing of any attempt at formality and wore his signature banana 🍌 paraphernalia. We're all wondering when he initiates the bull market in banana zone meme coins, especially after Elon had one painted onto one of his rockets. 99k now. Who will be the first to show a 100k print on X? It really should be Michael Saylor to hold that honor. Still think we can double from here in 2025. 🚀 🚀
