211 LA is not only working around the clock to connect survivors to critical resources, but we are also actively engaged with local communities. In fact, more than 90% of 211 LA is local to Los Angeles. You can find team members going above and beyond on the ground by volunteering, making donations, and fostering pets. We're more than an information and referral service—we're also doing our part as members of this beloved community we call Los Angeles County. 💙💛

211 LA is partnering with Hilton and American Express to coordinate the distribution of Hilton hotel stays for even more people impacted by the LA Wildfires. Hilton will provide 20,000 hotel room nights available at no charge. In light of this partnership, 211 LA Executive Director Maribel Marin said:  "We are deeply grateful to Hilton and American Express for their emergency support during this heartbreaking time. Their generosity in providing shelter to those who have lost so much, as well as to the brave first responders on the front lines, reflects the best of what it means to come together as a community. At 211 LA, we are honored to partner in this effort, ensuring that displaced individuals and families receive the critical assistance they need to navigate this crisis and begin rebuilding their lives." In response to the devastating fires, 211 LA is partnering with Airbnb.org to provide temporary housing for individuals and families who were forced to evacuate or lost their homes entirely.
