TAKEAWAYS: 1.) Yes, the cost per conversion is up, but this is the time to continue spending as it's cheaper to reach the same people. It's channels like Google Ads that you should've paced hot in December and then paced down starting at the end of this week. 2.) Don't gauge the success of a website visits campaign by conversions; your goal is to make your buyer aware of your brand and build your retargeting layer. 3.) Remember not all CPCs are treated equally; each objective has different rules for chargeable clicks. Brand awareness is optimizing for impressions, not clicks, so it makes sense that the CPC is higher. Side note: You don't pay for clicks; you pay for impressions. 4.)
