While eagerly awaiting the full results for 2024, we are sharing an impressive announcement from BYD In 2024, BYD achieved global sales of 4,272,145 new energy vehicles, becoming the world’s sales champion in the segment. Highlights from their report include: • 4,250,370 new energy passenger vehicles sold, marking a 41.1% year-over-year growth. • 417,204 vehicles sold overseas, a staggering 71.9% growth year-over-year. In December 2024 alone, BYD sold 514,809 new energy vehicles, with 509,440 passenger vehicles, reflecting a 49.8% growth year-over-year. 🏆 Energy Scouts Awards within the Young Energy Europe program! It is our great pleasure that we certified 43 #EnergyScouts at the closing ceremony of the event! In total, they presented 17 projects! The jury made of lecturers: Ljiljana Kostic Despotovic from JUGO-IMPEX DOO NIS, Marina Mijic from ProCredit Bank a.d Belgrade, Zoran Jovanović from Siemens and Filip Mitrović from 360°Mobility announced the best three projects: 1st place – Vorwerk Autotec Serbia d.o.o. represented by: Darko Đurović with the project: The use of an absorption chiller in heat recovery from a compressor 2nd place – Smurfit Westrock Belgrade and the team: Danka Rnjaković, Marko Anđelković and Filip Manojlovic with the project: Optimization of paper grammage change and its impact on CO2 emissions 3rd place – BUCK Lighting d.o.o. and the team: Marija Stoimirović and Tatjana Rajak with the project: Energy management through the improvement of internal transport Congrats to all #EnegryScouts We are looking forward to seeing the implementation progress and energy saving you will achieve! ‼️ Electric Cars Proven to Be Durable! ‼️ According to a DEKRA study, electric vehicle (EV) batteries are significantly more durable than many believe. Even after driving 250,000 km, most batteries retain over 90% of their capacity! 🚗⚡ These findings are transforming the perception of the used EV market and opening up opportunities for the development of electric mobility in regions dominated by used cars, such as Serbia and the surrounding region. A great example of this is the performance of older Jaguar I-Pace taxis in Munich, which have shown impressive battery capacity retention after years of intensive use.
