Want to know what I have learned about scaling a business from all my years as an entrepreneur? Processes first. You can’t grow on a shaky foundation. Processes are your foundation. AI can streamline processes, but FIRST you have to understand the processes. Here’s what to do: Map your current processes (yes, even the messy ones) Identify where your institutional knowledge lives (hint: it's usually in people's heads) Test using AI with small pilots in non-customer-facing areas Build trust through verified results Scale what works with proper human oversight What I've observed after implementing this: Teams become more strategic, not less Critical thinking improves as AI handles mundane tasks Employee satisfaction increases with meaningful work Decision-making becomes data-driven, not gut-based Growth becomes sustainable, not chaotic Remember: AI won't fix broken processes.
