It is a great honor to announce that, according to the decision of the 4iG Nyrt. Group management, I will be able to continue my professional work as the CEO of 4iG Space and Defence Technologies, Hungary’s largest private space and defence industry holding company, as of December 1. Since the founding of 4iG Space and Defence Technologies, I have been working as the acting CEO of the holding company, so in addition to my duties as Chief of Staff to the Chairman at 4iG Group, I was also responsible for launching the company’s strategic projects and developing its management and organizational structure. 4iG Space and Defence Technologies faces significant transactions and tasks in the coming period, including the successful completion of the construction of #REMTECH space manufacturing facility in Martonvásár, the implementation of the #HUSAT satellite program, and the market growth of the company’s defence industrial activities - such as #drone production, #counterUAV systems as well as defence #digitalization. I would like to thank Group Chairman Gellért Jászai for his trust and the joint work as his outgoing Chief of Staff, and it is an honor to be able to help the growth of #4iG Group as the CEO of 4iG S&D!

CASSINI Hackathon 2024 – Hungary 🚀 We’re excited to share that 4iG Space and Defence Technologies took an active role in the CASSINI Hackathon, a pan-European event initiated by the European Commission, which took place simultaneously in ten countries, including Hungary! 🌍 With six dynamic teams presenting their project proposals in short pitch sessions, the event was a true celebration of innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving. The focus of these projects was on managing disaster situations and strengthening defence capabilities. Among the creative concepts were the use of drone technologies and satellite Earth observation data to protect human lives and critical supply chains. 💡 A huge thank you to Attila Sipos, aerospace expert who mentored the teams on-site and Dr. Sik András, chief geodata officer who served as one of the judges, evaluating the outstanding projects. 🔝 In addition to the main prizes, 4iG Space and Defence Technologies was proud to present special awards to the teams. The winning team, Armada, earned a Business Mentoring Session with top experts from 4iG Space and Defence Technologies. The group developed a technical solution and process for search and rescue operations using collaborative drones in critical situations such as earthquakes. ❗ HUSAT, THE LARGEST PRIVATE SATELLITE PROGRAMME IN THE REGION IS ANNOUNCED BY 4IG SPACE AND DEFENCE TECHNOLOGIES ❗ 4iG Space and Defence Technologies has launched the HUSAT programme, the largest privately initiated and funded satellite programme in the region. Its objective is to launch one geostationary telecommunications satellite (HUGEO) and eight additional low earth orbiting high-resolution VHR Earth observation satellites (HULEO) by 2032 and to operate and utilise them over their lifetime. 🛰 The HULEO constellation will include six electro-optical (HUEOP) and two synthetic aperture radar (HUSAR) satellites. The HUGEO and the first HUEOP satellite could be operational by the end of 2028, enabling the launch of a first-party Earth Observation and Communication service. 🌐 By operating its own ground stations, the company will manage and operate the satellites, with the primary objective of selling communications capacity and Earth Observation data. 📡 The in-house infrastructure, together with systems integration and technological expertise, will enable the company to manage the entire process in-house and to provide an End-To-End Earth Observation and satellite Communications service through its vertically integrated infrastructure. 🌍 #wedoit #Innovation #SatelliteTechnology #EarthObservation #SatCom
