Since 2003, we’ve made a name for ourselves innovating gear and apparel into more functional designs for our end-users, and among the latest products carrying on our legacy for innovation is the Founder’s Jacket. Meet Jodie Udzenija, our Product Category Director and head of the design team behind our most formal piece of functional apparel yet. We asked her to break down some of the design choices and features of this new jacket. “The Founder’s Jacket is a great staple piece within a men’s ‘capsule wardrobe’. It looks terrific with chinos and denim, paired with a button-down or polo shirt,” she said. “The Easter eggs of design are all under the hood… inside the front shoulders are mic wire guides, secured internal pockets for contents you want to keep safe, abrasion resistant nylon liner for those that wear gear on their waistband, MOLLE on the front inside to attach pouches… 2 hidden handcuff key pockets, a tunnel seam to secure flex-cuffs, and an elastic retention on the internal drop pocket.” We also asked about the biggest design challenge she and her team faced bringing the Founder’s Jacket to market: “Being able to carry and wear all that an end user needed without having the gear print through to the outside. Our Technical Designers did a tremendous job in the patterning, construction, and fabric choice.” Having launched the Founder’s Jacket as a limited release, the style has been well-received. In closing, Jodie mentioned their current plan is to expand the line with complimentary shirts and pants down the road.

Never forgotten. On this day, 23 years ago, our world changed forever. September 11th, 2001 remains etched in our memory as a day of unimaginable loss, but also as a day we witnessed extraordinary courage, resilience, and unity. Today, we honor the 2,977 American lives lost, the first responders who bravely ran toward danger, and all those who have carried the weight of that day ever since. We remember not only the tragedy but also the incredible stories of hope and humanity that emerged in its aftermath. As we reflect on this day, let's also recommit to the values that were so powerfully displayed following 9/11: compassion, solidarity, and the belief that even in the darkest times, we are stronger together.

This past month, our employees participated in a global wellness challenge in partnership with Stop Soldier Suicide. During this challenge, we focused on our physical and mental wellbeing all while stepping for a greater cause. Employees worked together to accomplish a collective step goal aiming for 15 million steps, with each step bringing us closer to a $10,000 donation for Stop Solider Suicide. We're proud to announce our team far surpassed our initial goal completing over 25 million steps. Our donation will go towards mental health and wellness care to veterans and service members in an effort to decrease the rate of soldier related suicides.
